Just a friendly reminder that any requests to place items on the agenda for our Annual Meeting must be received by May 8th. This is in preparation for our regularly scheduled Annual Meeting on Tuesday June 8th at 7pm EDST. The meeting will be held via Zoom, and it is possible to phone in if you don’t have internet connectivity. Yes, it’s an attempt by your board to return to some degree of normality in the functioning of our club.

The election of officers.
We currently have the following candidates:
- President-Elect – Steve D.
- Treasurer – Chris D. (2 year Term)
- Secretary – Will H.
- Mainstream/Plus Rep – Bob R.
- Advanced/Challenge Rep – Ron R.
- Publicity Chair – Ted M.
As current President Elect, Norma Beard will automatically become President after the election.
If you wish to nominate someone, including yourself, for an office please contact Norma B. or Dave B. to be added to the ballot.
PROPOSED BY-LAW CHANGE
There is a proposal to modify Article 4 of the club’s by-laws. This is the proposed change:
Section 4.4 D 4. Shall ensure that at least the
President, President-Elect, Treasurer, and Secretary of the incoming Board become signatories of the club bank account(s) in a timely fashion for the duration of their term(s) of office.
Shall be replaced with:
Section 4.4 D 4. Shall ensure that at least the Treasurer, and three other Board members become signatories of the club bank account(s) in a timely fashion for the duration of their term(s) of office.
The language being removed has been lined out. The language being added has been underlined.
This change is being proposed in order to give the Board more flexibility in appointing signatories of the club’s bank accounts in case one or more of the officers are unable to be signers due to residency or other impediments.
The meeting is open to all, but only members who are current with their 2021-2022 dues are eligible to vote or run for office. Anyone who has completed the Mainstream program is eligible for membership.
Please pay your dues on the website. Dues for this period are $5 per person. Use the top “Buy Now” link for an individual member’s payment, or the bottom “Donate” link for two or more people. The “Donate” link allows you to enter a custom amount; be sure to list the names of everyone whose membership you’re covering.
You must pay your dues by Monday, June 7 at 12 noon in order to be eligible to vote in the election. These dues will cover the period from the 2021 Annual Meeting through our June 2022 Annual Meeting.
