This church is across the street from the Unitarian Church but the entrance that we are using in on Sansom St. Our space is a cozy space in the back of the church, but be sure to see the sanctuary and the great Tiffany stained glass window behind the altar!
The Way Community Center is located in Center City Philadelphia. This building is newly renovated, so we would like to get feedback about its qualities and location for future dances. The surface is linoleum and the space is large but has an echo. If at all possible, we ask that those people who are not dancing keep the conversational din to a minimum. And allow a bit of extra time for parking or splurge on a lot -- this part of town can be challenging when it comes to finding convenient on-street parking. There are lots of other activities at the Way Center, and many of the bars/pubs/coffeehouses/restaurants of interest to our community are but a short stroll away.

Take Lincoln Drive off Kelly Drive or the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76). Make a right turn onto Rittenhouse (first traffic signal) and then another right turn onto Wissahickon (first traffic signal). Go up the hill to the second traffic signal and make a left onto School House Lane. Go approximately 6 blocks, and the third light will be Germantown Ave. (note the Mellon Bank on the left and the First Union on the right). Go right on Germantown Ave. At the next light, go right onto Coulter and then take the first right into the driveway. Park in the parking area and walk away from the Meetinghouse toward the Little Gym which will be the location for the dance.
